Profile of a poker player: Nathanael Seet
Nathanael Seet is among the group of young, educated professional poker players in Singapore who make more than enough from the game they love to live the high life. Seet steadily created a name for himself since he started playing poker in about 2005. And these days he is now regarded as the most successful poker player to ever come out of Singapore, or perhaps even Asia. In fact, Seet denies that he’s a professional poker player but on the other hand, admits that poker is only form of income! He does have a backup career up his sleeve, however, as he’s also an undergraduate of the Singapore Management School. His poker skills and strengths lie in live games rather than online and often plays in cash games in Las Vegas and Macau. He finished in 6th place in the 2008 APPT and here’s an interview with him during that event.
