I’ve always been a bit skeptical about these new online 3D poker rooms and regarded them (until now) as a bit of a passing fad. Those who really love their poker would find this just a bit too gimmicky and take you away from the game. But I confess … I thought I shouldn’t knock what I hadn’t tried so I tested out PKR Poker as from what I can tell they have a pretty good reputation for their 3D graphics. Tips for playing multi table tournaments

No limit multi table poker tournaments are becoming increasingly popular at online poker rooms and if you want to advance in your poker skills then you really should try them. This is the format of satellites and qualifiers that will give you entry into bigger events with little risk and expense as they have low buy ins. A multi table tournament may have up to 5000 players but can be as few as 11. The objective is to winning all the chips from other players sitting around the table. Poker Word of the Week: Blinds

Blinds are bets that players are forced to make before the cards have even been dealt and hence the name since they are like a blind bet. Blinds were originally introduced to the game in an attempt to try and stop players from being too conservative or folding their hand without even placing a bet. There’s usually a small blind (placed by the player left of the dealer button) and a big blind (placed by the person on left of the player who placed the small blind). In a poker tournament it’s common for the blinds to gradually increase at intervals and has the effect that as players are eliminated, the remaining players are left with more and more chips.

I found a new but steadily growing poker blog the other day in my search for some poker tips and strategies. I think it’s going to be a good one to keep coming back to for useful poker information.

Found some interesting info on Texas Hold’em Poker, the rules of Poker Etiquette (which personally interest me a lot, even if I care little about following them – hence ONLINE poker) and recommended online casino and poker portals etc.

It’s colorful and nice to read or just look at. Makes me think why my blog isn’t cream colored…
